The Best Cafes in Newcastle.

ESTABAR:
Newcastle Beach
A spanish tapas cafe directly overlooking beach. Specialising in breakfasts, lunch, gelato and great coffees. On the weekend they have a spanish guitarist playing at nights. They light candles and serve  traditional spanish hot chocolate. Pictured above: Eggplant relish and labna cheese on fresh sourdough. A favorite.  Best time of day to visit: Sunday Mornings when Darby St is too full OR summer evenings when the sun is setting and music starts.

SNOWS CAFE;
Kemp St, The Junction
Modern Australian Cafe with a beautiful open plan, large windows and gourmet products. Pictured above is the barley, lentil and haloumi salad with roasted almonds and fresh rocket. Yes. My favorite off the menu again. Best time to visit: Weekdays for lunch when the sun comes streaming in. Closed Sundays.

LONGBENCH;
Darby St, Newcastle
Best place for the-morning-after breakfast. Pictured above: Fresh sourdough roll which is baked with egg, ham, cheese and tomato relish inside. Best time to Visit: Weekends or thursday morning (depending on where you were the night before).
